Top Notch Designs was founded by the two of us back in 1987.
The aim of the business was simple – offer a complete service from planning and design to manufacturing and installation. And, of course, do it really well.
The result is a business that has grown through word-of-mouth, creating distinctive kitchens and a range of fitted and free-standing furniture in a variety of styles for over 1,000 clients.
Still located in Chesham, Buckinghamshire (where we started) we are now a team – design and showroom upstairs and workshop downstairs.
Our style is to work closely with every client, translating their ideas, suggesting our own, planning and crafting the modern and traditional to achieve something that everyone feels is special.

DESIGN
We start by looking at your space - how can it best be used to achieve your vision, your style. Working together we use the latest tech to produce vivid 3-D perspective images. A visit to our showroom, catalogues and samples all help to ensure you can carefully plan your exact requirements.
MANUFACTURE
Our workshop is where it all takes shape, crafted by our team of specialists. Measuring, cutting, assembling and finishing to quality 'old-school' standards; every kitchen or piece of furniture we make looks and, most importantly, feels bespoke. As you may have gathered, it's these standards we are deeply proud of.
INSTALlATION
Having got so far, we are obviously keen to see the project is complete to your total satisfaction. We offer a full range of installation services, working with our people and/or yours to ensure everything goes smoothly in the final stages. Our eye for detail and pursuit of quality ensures everything is carefully completed.
